JF Ptak Science Books Quick Post
I'm having a little fun with the Google Ngram viewer--you can too!
- (https://books.google.com/ngrams/graph?content=&year_start=2000&year_end=2012&corpus=15&smoothing=3&share=&direct_url=) which if you look for the most recent date will default to 2008 and has a limit of 12 variables.
I'll just let these graphs speak for themselves. In the first graph I tried to beat "Frankenstein" with something popular but had a hard time, not finding anything (though just over a short period of time) but being very happy overall with the results. In the next graph I was mainly interested to see the difference in the use of "World War II", "Second World War", and "World War Two", and then threw in "Bible" and "television", and found the surprising "singularity" (well, not really).
