This is part of a report of the Bridgeport Brass Company for 1943 detailing the company's activities in the war effort. This was apart from the general war products industry, and included what the company was doing in response to the U.S. War Production Board's outline for pulling together labor and management in joint committees to solidify the extreme national war effort. One small part of that was the donation of a portion of every paycheck--the suggested amount was 10%--that would be used towards war production. The poster below was a reminder to folks in the factories about where and how that money was being used:
