Thanks for giving some attention to Nagasaki, it is usually ignored, and for a reason. Everyone talks about Hiroshima, but it was really Nagasaki that ended the war. But the bomb missed the center of town and instead, struck a suburb of Nakasaki that was a Christian ghetto. Since Shinto was established as the State Religion, every Christian in Japan had been rounded up for forced labor at the Mitsubishi munitions factory in the hills outside Nagasaki. So the final American act of WWII was exterminating the only enclave of Christians in Japan, who were working as slave labor. No wonder nobody wants to talk about it. It exposes uncomfortable issues on both sides.
