I have to confess, John, that this is the first time I did not click the "continue reading" link. This was almost painful to read up to the "click for more" point. No more.

I'm going back to finish reading up on how to paint a flag pole...


He may have been somebody's Daddy, but then again, he may have been Father with a capital F, and the girls may have willingly married themselves off young just to get out of the house. It would be fun to know. He strikes me as a man who would be in a Who's Who from that time. I've rid our little library of the many, many linear feet of that collection. Otherwise, I'd check.
