[Map] Illinois Central Direct to All Gates, Chicago World's Fair...Published I suspect by the Illinois Central System.
"This...official map of the Chicago World's Fair shows the exact location of all the principal buildings and attractions. It shows, too, how Illinois Central parallels the fair grounds from end to end..." 29x19", printed in blue, orange, and black. Includes insets for fares , as well as a general map of the Chicago area, plus an index of about 150 attractions at the Fair.
Condition: there are old folds as you can see in the photo, as well as some breaks at fold intersections, and a few short tears. That said the map is crisp and bright, and was printed on a heavier stock paper (and is printed on one side only). Provenance: Library of Congress, with their small 6mm perforated "LC" just above the "l" in "Central at the map bottom, and which is difficult to see; on the reverse is the LC surplus stamp, and a stamp showing that the map was the property of Henry C. Morris (who I assume is Chicagoan Henry Crittenden Morris, 1863-1948) before the L.C. Very Good condition. $100
