Just stumbled across your fascinating blog, and feel obliged to point out that, although the German map talks about bombing "England", there are huge concentrations of targets in South Wales, and a number in Scotland too. So it would be more accurate to talk about bombing Britain- and we usually refer to "the Battle of Britain".

Sorry to be pedantic, but these distinctions are important this side of the pond!

My error, Andrew, and a big one--thanks for pointing that out. I've made changes... And you're not being "pedantic" at all, just "correct".
