I posted in March 2010 a short note on a one-page letter written in 1917 by Willis R. Whitney (founder of G.E. Laboritoriesand much more) to Secretary of the Navy Josephus Daniels outlining a position for the government on the production and use of poison gas in warfare. I've added a little more biographical information to the original, and I'm also offering my original copy of the document for sale at the blog's bookstore. Enjoy.
